I promised Morrgan ages ago that I would make an illustration for her short-story of Little Red Riding Hood!John and Wolf!Sherlock, LINK TO STORY. In short Sherlock is the big bad wolf and John’s mother should have thought him to not speak to strangers :D. And since John is a child I guess this also makes this kid!lock? I wanted to draw something that was similar to the style of this piece—>[link], since I’ve fallen in love with the style. So I interpreted the story in my own way and changed it a bit to go with the style I was drawing. Today, Amazon announced the imminent launch of its newest endeavor, Kindle Worlds, a publishing platform for fanfiction. When I read the announcement, I was horrified, then angry, then sad. I want to take a moment to explain why this is such a tragedy.
And I don’t know how to contact them. One of my graphics is on there, and I’ve seen a few others I know that /definitely/ do not belong to sherlock-for-me.
